I know I am almost a month late in getting started, it has taken me ages to get my blog ready, as well as other commitments. This is my first year of attempting project 363 and so far in January I have not made the photo a day, but I will post what I have taken. Hopefully next month I can get into the swing of things. ESS has a forum for Project 365, along with prompts every week, and ideas and freebies, which I am going to try to follow.

I have a Canon Power Shot SX20(pictured in the header above), and I barely know how to use it, although I am already wanting to upgrade to the EOS, and give this one to my daughter. We are hoping to do some photography courses during the year to improve our skills (my daughter is keen photographer and loves to photoshop her photos, all self taught and she does a brilliant job!)
So Project 365, here we go...

New years day! We had a party at our house that lasted until 7am on Friday morning, the 1st of January. Even the fur babies joined in. I couldn't resist this being my first photo of the year. My Cane Corso Jackson- we call him Flapjack (he is 9 months old) totally exhausted by all the festivities, but not missing out on a thing!

Mark, my husband and my middle son having fun in the pool! It was a lazy day of recovering!

My daughter turned 16 today

Today your turned 16, and I suddenly realize you are a young lady.Where have the years gone? I wish you all the love, success and happiness in the world. I know you have many dreams. I hope they all come true. You are beautiful , talented and generous but I know you don't always find life easy. Today I want you to know that I am always here for you, and I love you with all my heart.

I had a hard drive crash and just realized I lost most of the photos I took in January as I did not save them on my EHD!! So thats a rough start!! So just posting the the few I have still got!
This week is all about new beginnings. Take photos about your resolutions and goals for 2010. What are your inspirations? What is something that will help you achieve your goal?
This week's prompt is to take pictures of things that you do for fun and entertainment.
